THE PROGRAM.
The program offers 14 different thematic areas:
1 - Grocery shopping education: fresh food market and supermarket; organic and industrially produced foods; fresh and preserved foods.
2 - Cuisine as a cultural landmark: seasonality & DOP/IGP (quality control mark)
3 - Pizza and bread in the Italian Tradition
4 - Fresh Pasta Workshop
5 - Traditional Sweetsof Italian Holidays
6 - The Mediterranean Diet
7 - Traditional Product Preserves and Fresh Herbs
8 - Pairing Food & Wine *
9 - Olive Oil
10 - Cold Cuts and Cheese in the Tuscan Tradition
11 - The Art of Setting and Decorating the Table
12 - Food Styling and Photography *
13 - Flower Composition & Arrangement*
14 - Gelato, Italian Ice and Sorbets
The lengthof each program is two weeks. Programs can be repeated adding extra weeks.
Each program includes 14 hours of group class (both cooking and wine) and 10 hours of private individual tutoring on the thematicchosen area.
The program is offered both in English and in Italian Language.
