The program offers 14 different thematic areas:
1 - Grocery shopping education: fresh food market and supermarket; organic and industrially produced foods; fresh and preserved foods.
2 - Cuisine as a cultural landmark: seasonality & DOP/IGP (quality control mark)
3 - Pizza and bread in the Italian Tradition
4 - Fresh Pasta Workshop
5 - Traditional Sweetsof Italian Holidays
6 - The Mediterranean Diet
7 - Traditional Product Preserves and Fresh Herbs
8 - Pairing Food & Wine *
9 - Olive Oil
10 - Cold Cuts and Cheese in the Tuscan Tradition
11 - The Art of Setting and Decorating the Table
12 - Food Styling and Photography *
13 - Flower Composition & Arrangement*
14 - Gelato, Italian Ice and Sorbets
The length of each program is two weeks. Programs can be repeated adding extra weeks.
Each program includes 3 group cooking lessons, 8 private lessons of individual tutoring on the thematic chosen area, one market tour and 4 lectures with tastings.
The program is offered both in English and in Italian language. This program does not include accommodation, available on request.
Program cost: Euro 1.710
Minimum two people. For individual programs, 375 euro extra charge is due.
Extra week: 3 open group cooking classes and 2 private individual cooking classes.
