THE PACKAGE: one week dedicated to visit Florence, its everlasting monuments and experience Italian cuisine, and Tuscan wines.
ACCOMMODATION: seven nights at Hotel Adler Cavalieri, central location, near the school (only 5 minutes walking), luxury, old style, recently renewed, 4 star hotel.
EXCURSION TO CHIANTI WITH DINNER: A journey through the Chianti countryside, one of the most suggestive areas of Tuscany famous the world over for its wine, to reach a magnificent Castle: a visit to the gardens and the splendid cellar with the famous barrels of the Chianti Classico wine. Stop for snack and wine tasting, followed by a visit to one of the most beautiful Romanesque churches in the area. For dinner: a typical meal (with rich menu and excellent Chianti wine) in the magical atmosphere of an old village among the hills.
The excursions take place in different areas of the Chianti region. Weather permitting, dinner will be served in the open. Please wear suitable clothing.
Includes: transport, tour escort, snack and wine tasting, dinner and drinks.
Departure: 2.00 pm. - Return: around 22:45.
COOKING ACTIVITIES
WEEKLY COMBINATION: special weekly combinations programs include group and individual classes, (hands-on classes taught by local chefs and food experts). These combinations have been created for a more intensive program on weekly basis; each combination includes 2 group cooking classes + 1 group wine appreciacion + 2 one-to-one cooking classes + 1 one-to-one wine appreciation class + one gastronomic walking tour.
The School: lessons are held in a real cooking school class-room, while students are looking at the chef explaining in English what he is preparing, at his professional desk, students have their own equipped desk and cook the same with their hands. For group classes, the menu is established each week by the chef, 3 or 4 dishes will be taught in each course. In one-to-one cooking classes, the student can choose the personalized menu he wants to learn among a menu sample list. Group courses start at 6.30 p.m. and end at about 9,15 p.m. The tasting dinner always follows the course. One-to-one classes are planned according to the school availability and students programs, lunch or dinner follows each class.
Gastronomic Walking Tour: The gastronomic walking tour is a fun way to see and TASTE the city. Students are accompanied through the town, making stops in local shops and small stands to sample typical foods and wines of the region. Some foods to be enjoyed in this tour are schiacciata (flat bread), crostini and bruschetta, salami, prosciutto, pecorino cheese, rice and apple fritters and of course, gelato!

Single room extra charge 40 euro per night.
For packages in may- june-september and october, extra charge 70 euro per person.
Included in Price: 7 nights in a Double Classic Room at Hotel Adler Cavalieri, 4 stars hotel, buffet, continental breakfast, cooking activities (weekly combination as written above), 4 tasting meals of prepared food at the school (dinners or lunches depending on the time schedule of lessons), half day excursion to Chianti region with visit to cellars, wine tasting and dinner in a typical restaurant of Chianti. BOOKING CONDITIONS
A 20% not refundable deposit by credit card is requested to secure the booking. Full payment is due at least 30days before the arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The deposit is not refundale.
If cancellation occurs within 15 days before the check-in date, no further penalty is asked. The other 80% already payed (less bank transfert commissions) will be returned back.
In case of cancellations from 14 to 3 days before check-in date, cancellation penalty is 50% of total price, the other 50% already payed (less bank transfert commissions) will be returned back.
From 48 from the check-in date, and in case of no-show, cancellation penalty is 100% of total price.
